Dr. Brendan Vastlik
“I believe in a patient centered approach to care. It is very common for dentists to dictate treatment to patients, assuming they know what is best for all patients. Instead, I believe it is impossible for me to best serve you without your input and knowledge of your desired outcomes. I will always take the time to educate my patients on all their options, and then spend time listening to what matters most to them. Only then can we work together to choose the treatment best suited for you.” – Dr. Brendan Vastlik
Dr. Brendan Vastlik combines over decade’s worth of experience in dentistry, starting as an assistant and lab technician before going on to become a dentist. He graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with Bachelor’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, where he was commended for clinical excellence and awarded the Arthur C. Reuter Scholarship for his commitment to community service. Since then, he has completed over 400 hours in continuing education, 10X the required amount for dentists in Illinois. He is certified in implant dentistry, clear aligner therapy, laser dentistry, and completed a mini-residency in endodontics. He is currently studying to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry – a designation held by less than 6% of dentists, demonstrating his dedication to delivering the highest quality of care possible.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Vastlik spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Duke. He enjoys learning new recipes, and exploring the diverse food scene in the Chicagoland area.
